At Canis Domum, we are Passionate About Dogs and our aim is to encourage better feeding and caring for them.
We only sell Exceptional Dog Foods, sourced for their outstanding quality, all being manufactured by a small, family-run company in rural Wales, whom we have personally known for years, and who have won numerous awards for their commitment to demonstrating high ethical standards in Animal Welfare, and stance against animal testing and cruelty. Grain Free Dry Dog Foods
Grain Free dog foods are formulated using potato and/or sweet potato as the main carbohydrate, rather than grains. Reported benefits of feeding your dog a grain free diet are:

- Healthier skin;
- Shinier coat;
- Less shedding of fur;

Grain Free Cold Pressed Dog Foods
Our Cold Pressed Dog Food is completely unique …. IT IS THE ONLY COLD PRESSED DOG FOOD MADE FROM FRESH MEAT. Other Cold Pressed Dog Foods available comprise of heat-treated meat meal, mixed with other ingredients, then cold pressed. Our Cold Pressed Dog Food is made from FRESH HUMAN GRADE QUALITY MEAT, highly nutritious and easily digestible. The cold pressing process then captures and locks-in the goodness of all the natural ingredients, ready to be delivered to your dog. Our Cold Pressed Dog Food is grain free and has the added benefits of a High Joint Care Inclusion of glucosamine, chondroitin and green lipped mussel. As a result of our Cold Pressed Dog Food being made from Fresh Meat, it is highly comparable to Raw Feeding. People who want to raw feed their dogs, can happily feed our Cold Pressed as a close, and perhaps more suitable lifestyle alternative.
Another advantage to some dogs of being placed on a diet of Cold Pressed Dog Food is that this type of food slowly breaks down inside their tummies, making for better digestion. This food is particularly advantageous, therefore, to dogs with a pre-disposition to flatulence or regurgitation, or those breeds recognised as being prone to bloat.
Whilst, at first sight, Cold Pressed Dog Foods appear more expensive than other kibbles, you actually feed your dog ONE THIRD LESS in volume than a kibble, therefore these foods are actually highly competitively priced.
Meat Wet Trays
We stock both Grain Free and Hypoallergenic Meat Wet Trays. Both Meat Wet Tray types contain, at least, 60% fresh meat, which has been gently steam cooked in its own tray. These Meat Wet Trays are a tasty change from kibble, from time to time, or can be added to kibble, if you prefer. The contents can also be stuffed into a Kong, to keep your dog mentally stimulated and occupied, if you need to leave them for a short while. Our Meat Wet Trays come in boxes, containing x10 395g individually vacuum sealed trays. Store them in a cool cupboard prior to opening, then once opened, store any unused meat in a refrigerator, for up to two days.
Gourmet Sausages
Our 750g Gourmet Sausages are simply fabulous! Super Premium, Grain-Free Wet Dog Food Sausages, made with 80% Single Source Protein. All meats used are responsibly raised and Red Tractor Assured, along with Sustainably Sourced Fish. Available in a choice of Six Varieties, of Chicken, Turkey, Duck, Lamb, Salmon and White Fish, with either added Chickpeas and Parsnips or Chickpeas and Carrots, depending upon the variety chosen.
